Meet Chris Church from Halifax, N.S., a violinist/vocalist/songwriter/composer/guitarist who is nominated for n ECMA 2012 Music Award for World Recording of The Year (ACROSS THE SEA).

Chris is captivating audiences worldwide with his world-style pop fusion. His lyrical melodies and striking vocals can be heard on his 2010 album, Across the Sea, and his debut 2004 album, HERE.

Chris can be heard on well over three dozen recordings, including Jesse Cook's Nomad, Live in Montreal, Frontiers and the Rumba Foundation as well as Multti Platinum award winning vocalist Charlotte Church's Enchantment, and a host of other prominent Canadian and international artists.

Chfris has travelled all over the world performing and reecently travelling with Jesse Cook from California to Beirut.

Chris graduated fom Dalhousie University with an undergraduate degree in violin performance. His first professional gig was with Symphony Nova Scotia at the age of 18 as substitute second fiddle. After this performance, his career skyrocketed and performed with the SNS until 2000, when he left Halifax and moved to Toronto, where he conmtinues to write arrangement for SNS and other Canadian orchestras.
