A Major Star Who Has Risen To The Top

Measha Bruggergosman, Canadian Soprano from Frederction, New Brunswick, has ASMeashaBrueggergosmanOooicialPressPhoto2007.jpg emerged on the music scene as one of the most magnificent artists and vibrant personalities of the day. She received an ECMA 2007 in Halifax for her Classical Music and has just won The Canadian Music Award in Toronto on March 7/07 for the same award category. Measha is critically acclaimed by the international press as much for her innate musicianship and radiant voice as for a sovereign stage presence far beyond her years. A dynamic scope of repertoire coupled with a profound depth of artistry brings Measha together with many of the finest international orchestras and most esteemed conductors of our day.

During the 2006-07 season symphonic performances, she performed with Robert Spano and the Atlantic Symphony, with Franz Welser-Most and the Cleveland Orchestra, with Peter Oundjian of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, with Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, with Gustavo Dudamel with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.

To top all her performances, she also joins Michael Tilson Thomas , Maxim Vengerov, and the New World Symphony for a gala concert innaugurating Miami's Carnival Center for The Performing Arts. Her busy schedule includes solo recitals at London, Brussels, Aberdeen, Gstaad, Berkeley , Ann Arbor and many, many others.

Other performances include; Vancouver Opera, Toronto's Roy Thompson Hall, University of Chicago, World Expo in 2005, Detroit Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Cleveland Orchestra. She also performed in Berlin, Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall, Spivey Hall, Edinburgh, Bergen, Augsburg, Barcelona and across Canada.She also gave a Royal Command Performance for Queen Elizabeth ll and sang for the Prince of Wales, President Tarja Halonen of Finland, Hon. Adrienne Clarkson, Nelson Mandela and many others.

Measha has been the subject of a full-length feature documentary, Spirit In Her Voice aired by the CBC network and appeared in other films as well. She has won numerous awards and appeared in many TV shows.
