Toronto GTA Area.The band consists of four talented music artists. Jerry Lush is Lead guitar and singer for the group. Jerry hails from Norris Arm, Nfld. He formed Easternstorm in 2001. He has been involved in the Toronto music scene for the past 10 years and has been involved in music since he was 10 years old. He performs various types of music including, Newfie, country, rock and blues. Jerry, a very perceptive musician, has a very sensitive ear and performs the music that his audience wants. He plays a variety of different instruments including bass, mandolin and drums and has his own recording studio.
Sandy Rowsell plays rhythm guitar and does vocals as well. He was born in Buchans, Nfld. and has many years in music. He is noted for his report with the audience and his personality which adds excitement to the band.
Gary Barry plays bass and does vocals as well. He is a journeyman musician. His sensibility ensures a solid foundation for the other band members to display their musical prowness.
Sylvain Fortier plays drums and does vocals as well. He has been playing the music scene for over 25 years. He is an accomplished drummer and also provides lead and back-up vocals. He is a journeyman member of the band and his impeccable timing makes him an integral part of the Easternstorm sound.
Jerry Lush, band leader, opened his digital recording studio in 2000. It is s 24 Bit 16 track/256 V track studio. He can convert all ones old records or tapes over to digital CD format. The Band plans to release their debut CD later in 2005. The band's 2005 performing schedule is quickly filling up as the band is becoming one of the most requested units across the GTA.
