ASELIN DEBISON NOW REVISED-DECEMBER 2011-SEE BELOW

Aselin Debison, is certainly Canada�s newest brightest stars who is emerging on the music scene. Aselin is just 11 years old and is from Glace Bay, Cape Breton. In 1999 she won the hearts of national audiences, then only 8 years old, when she was singing in support of protesting Cape Breton miners. Since then, she opened the National TV Broadcast of the East Coast Music Awards in a duet with Cape Breton�s own Bruce Guthro in 2000, starred in Global TV�s Foster Parents Plan Gala along with Chantal Kreviasuk, and performed in Disney World. Aselin received a standing ovation from thousands of fans including Prime Minister Jean Chretien following her performance on Parliament Hill as part of the televised Canada Day celebrations in July 2000. Her haunting version of, Farewell to Nova Scotia, wowed crowds of over 20,000 a day at Halifax�s Grand Parade Square during the The Tall Ships celebrations. In December 2000, she warmed the hearts of a chilly 50,000 strong crowd at the Prudential Center in Boston for the annual Christmas Tree lighting concert and has been invited back to headline this year 2001.

Aseline also appeared as special guest on Mike Bullard�s Christmas Special on December 22/00. After seeing her perform on Christmas Daddies, Bullard gushed: �I�ve never seen anything like that in my life� and insisted on flying her up for his show. Aselin was invited in March to perform exclusively for the International Olympic Committee during their working visit to Toronto. This past July, she was invited to perform in Ottawa for Canada Week with the R.C.M.P. musical ride. The R.C.M.P. gave her a custom-made uniform and hat for the occasion. In August 2001, she recorded a song in New York for an album with producer, Phillipe Saise who has recorded such artists as The Rolling Stones, Chaka Khan and Tina Turner.

Aselin is completely at home on stage and loves to sing before large audiences. On October 15/01, she released her debut album entitled, The Littlest Angel, an amazing Christmas collection of new and traditional songs. EMI recording artist Bruce Guthro and singer-songwriter pianist Kim Dunn produced the album. She will be touring in Nova Scotia in late November promoting her CD. The promotion will be part of Christmas Show starring herself, & Bette MacDonald as Mary Morrison as special guest. Maynard Morrison will be host of the show. Besides being nominated for 2 ECMA 2003 awards,(female & roots solo artist of the year), Aselin will be performing on the Awards Show on CBC TV on Sunday, Feb. 16. Aselin has signed with the Sony Label to produce 5 albums, who will promote her music to every major market in the world.

Aseline Debison has been out of music for a few years, going to school and so on, and now at 17 years old, she released a brand new CD in July 2010 entitled, Homeward Bound.The first single is called, CLOSE TO YOU, a sensational song co-written by Gordie Sampson, Chris Lindsey and Aimee Mayo.
