In 2010, Michael moved to Toronto, Ontario from his home inCo. Clare, Ireland and the formed a band called The Atlantic Tramps.
From meaningful ballads to roof-raising barnstormers, the energy and emotion of their music shines through when Michael Darcy and The Atlantic Tramps hit the stage.
Their new CD, Homemade, is no exception as Michael's songs on the CD bear the early tones of his west Clare roots and freshness of anewly cut path, Americana.
The CD was engineered, recorded and produced at Michael's home studio in Paris, Ontario, becoming his first DIY release.
The CD contains 12 tracks, of which Michael wrote six. Here are the song titles:
Crooked Jack - Long Summer Days - Wild West Clare
The Mickey Dam - Reckless Road - June or December
Castle Jig/ The Star of Munster - Lookin' Forward to Lookin Back
Until the Devil's Paid - Will You Come Over The Mountain?
Gypsy Davy - Let That River Roll On
