Remembering MAXINE BROWN of the

legend music group, THE BROWNS

who passed away on January 21, 2019

at age 87

LAURA SMITH, folk singer from Nova Scotia has been diagnosed

with cancer and is in palliative care in hospital. Laura is known

for her outstanding voice and is well-known across Canada

and has won many awards. Fans are rallying across the country

to raise funds for her cause. To date $25,000 has been raised

and fans can go to Go Fund Me Campaign to support Laura.

passed away on January 26, 2020 at age 85.

He was the last living member of the trio.

The trio performed for 43 years

and at one time they were the most popular

folk band in the world. They released 23 albums

throughout their career and the song TOM DOOLEY

reached #1 in 1958 and their career

skyrocketed thereafter.
