Remembering Kenny Dixon, drummer (on left) for popular country music artist Kane Brown who died in a tragic car crash on October 12, 2019. He was 27 and leaves his girlfriend Sarah Hedrick and son Levi James age 3. He was to be married Nov 30/19Remembering Sonny Curtis, steel guitar player (second from left) in the 1960's, has recently passed away in October 2019 at age 83. He died of alzheimers. He was a band member of The George Jones Band in the early years also played with Conway Twitty, Charley Pride and Minnie Pearl.

Happy 81st Birthday On October 14/19 to one of the top Country singer/songwriters MELBA MONTGOMERY in Nashville. She has written countless successful songs sung by many top Country artists. Her written song, We Must have been out of our minds, a duet with legend George Jones in 1963, reached No 3 on Billboard and remained on the charts for 30 weeks. She continues to write songs. Over the years, she released 29 albums,11 compilation albums and had released 62 singles.Country Music Legend, LORETTA LYNN made her debut appearance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on October 15, 1960, 59 years ago. She sang I'M A HONKY TONK GIRL and the rest of her career is history.

Bob Kingsley, legend DJ of American Country Countdown has passed away on October 17, 2019 at age 80 of bladder cancer. His show has been heard on 300 stations across USA and Canada. His voice was one of a kind and fans will miss his incredible voice and radio countdown. Through the years he received many awards including, ACM, CMA and CRB. He was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame some years ago.
