Daniel Goguen, country music singer/songwriter from Cocagne, NB released his 4th album entitled, Les Backroads in 2015, and is a winner all the way.

Daniel has been performing for 25 years. For two consecutive years (2014 and 2015, his original songs were selected as song of the year on the French Country Music Charts of l'ARCANB. In 2016 he won the Stingray Rising Star Traditional Country award at the Western Festival in St-Tite. That same year, he received nominations for album of the year during the Country Gala presented at the Casino de Montreal. All these nominations and awards were the result of releasing this fine album, Les Backroads.

Daniel just performed at the Mont-Carmel, PEI Summer Series on August 5, and from singing his first song, he became an instant hit with the audience and received 2 standing ovations at the end of his outstanding performance. He sang many songs from his latest album, both in French and English.

Here are the 10 song titles on his CD, Les Backroads:

Les Backroads - Bartender - Mon coeur ne bat que pour toi - Finalement la fin de semaine

I Can't Argue With My Heart - On veut juste avoir un good time - Miss You Just The Same

C'est a` cause de moi - Je ne suis pas le seul - Real country music

Musicians helping Daniel with the music were:

Roger Butch LeBlanc-Rob Arsenault-Joel Robichaud-Andre Coco McGraw

Scott Delhunty-Ray Legere and Daniel himself.

This album, Les Backroads, is a winner all the way. Daniel shines with his outstanding vocals, both in French and English. More awards and nominations should be coming Daniel's way says Atlantic Seabreeze. We give this fine album a full 5 Star Rating out of 5 Stars. He has a true traditional country music voice and when he sang his idol, Merl Haggard's song, Mama Tried, at the concert on Aug 5, he won the hearts of the whole audience present.
