Norma was a very special singer and bass player in Toronto, where she played bass for a number of years at the famous Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto playing bass for many Nashville Artists and in the 90's with the late June Pasher Band at OV's, in Toronto every Saturday afternoon and after June's untimely death in 2002 , Norma continued with her own band and performed at Moose Lodge Etobicoke, Ont. on Sunday afternoons until 2015 she moved to Moncton due to health reasons.
In the last year before her death, her health deteriorated and was unable to even play her guitar. During the early years she performed for the troops in Viet Nam with a group of country music artists, as well performed in 40 US states, Greenland, Philippines, Japan and Korea. and walked from Toronto to Nashville promoting country music. She recorded 2 albums and a number of single hits. She was inducted into the New Brunswick Country Hall of Fame on Oct 25, 2008.
