Johnny Reid, The first New Country Music Star of the New Millennium , has just released his first CD. It is entitled, Johnny Reid. What a fine CD it is!.

Johnny wrote eight original songs for his first self-titled album. The first cut released from the CD, called Given Up On Me, reached the top 40 on the Charts. Some title cuts are:

• Runnin' Wild
• My Guarantee
• She Don't Wanna Hear
• Missing In Action
• Please Forgive Me

A bonus track is included on the CD, called, Maggie, a famous Scottish ballad. Johnny sings this ballad superbly. Two songs on the CD were co-written with famous Barry Brown, of the Group Family Brown. Other co-writers were, William Wallace, co-writer of The Wilkinson's 1999 song of the year, 26 Cents as well as Dean McTaggart and David Tyson who had their songs recorded by Wynonna and Terri Clark.

Johnny recorded the album at Sound Of One Hand Studios in Ottawa and was produced by Allen Bragg. Johnny is currently on his CD Release Tour.
