The CD is John's 14th album for the Nova Scotia singer/songwriter and he introduces his actress/singer daughter, Samantha on the CD.
The CD contains 12 songs all written by John except 3 of them, which are Hallelujah, written by Leonard Cohen, Puerto Vallarta written by Gene MacLellan and Sloop John B which is a traditional song.

The song Standing In The Dark a duet was performed by John and daughter Samantha. The song titled Old Stone Wall,was written by John for his late sister and Samantha was proud to sing and share it on the album. The song Andree's Hearet was a song dedicated to John's wife.
