Doc Walker, award winning country music band from Manitoba has released their 7th CD entitled, 16 & 1. The band comprises of Chris Thorsteinson, Dave Wasyliw and Murray Pulver with Brent Pearon on bass and Steve Broadhurst on drums.

In 2009, they won a Canadian Juno for Country Recording of The Year. They won a total of 11 CCMA Awards through the years including in 2008 for Fans Choice Award, album, single and songwriter for their album BEAUTIFUL LIFE. Their new album 16 & 1, was recorded near Chris' s home in Westbourne, Manitoba at his studio, Old School Studios. The album looks back at their roots through their songs and celebrates how far they have come since their group beginning.
