Marcella was raised in Mont Carmel PEI in a musical family and began singing when she started to talk. In her teenage years till her mid 20�s, she performed in dinner theatres, She sang in multiple musical groups and performed in community halls across the Maritimes.
Her first recording was in Nashville as she was in a musical that was performed in Nashville and the album of this play was also recorded there.
In 1997, she recorded her first French album, followed by two more albums in 2000 and 2005 of original songs from the Maritimes and Louisiana songwriters. The songs played on radio stations across Canada, Louisiana and overseas in France and still do today! This brought her to have multiple #1 hits on French radio stations in the Maritimes and was awarded Discovered Artist of the year in 1997 and Female Artist of the year in 1998 from the radio charts in the Maritimes. She was nominated in Les Gala des �loizes in 2001 for Album of the year, Country Album of the year and Female Artist of the year. Also nominated for an ECMA in 2002 for Francophone album of the year. She performed on multiple CBC TV shows and on TV show �Pour l�amour du Country� out of Moncton.
Was also proud to join and perform with Ang�le Arsenault on stage for several years in the Maritimes, Qu�bec and also in France.
When Marcella was in her 20's, she met Ken MacCaull, a musician and producer, who recorded her three French albums.. Marcella is an Island girl who is thankful to have been able to put her voice to Roy's songs.
