Meet Jason Benoit, hailing from Fox Island River, Newfoundland, on Canada's East Coast. Singer/Songwriter Jason is one of Canada's hottest new country artists. He exploded on the music scene in 2013 with his soulful rendition of Armen Van Buuren's dance hit, This is What it Feels Like, nearly breaking into the top 40 , his first single.

He signed on the Sony label and shortly after broke into the top 30 on Canada's Billboard Chart with the song, Cray Kinna Love.

In 2015, his third single, Gone Long Gone, is climbing the charts and received top 20 status. He is now recording his debut album and it is expected to be released in early 2016.

Jason is starting to become a well known name on the country music charts in Canada. Fans can expect to hear a lot more from Jason in years to come. He performed lately at PEI's Cavendish Beach Music Festival and was an instant hit wherever he performed.

Jason was just nominated in July 2015 in the Rising Star Category. Winners will be announced in September in Halifax, at the Gala CCMA Awards Show.

Jason released his full length album in 2017 entitled, WAVES with JV Records/Sony Music Canada. Shortly after he signed an exclusive US Management deal with D & D Endeavors gaining the support of influential music executive, David Nathan who has previously worked with acts such as Florida Georgia Line and Taylor Swift.

In the past few years he performed with Great Canadian artists such as Tim Hicks, Aaron Pritchett, Meghan Patrick. The Washboard Union and Brett Kissell.
