Brent Williams was born on a small farm in Hassett, Nova Scotia and the youngest of eight children. Renowned for being one of Canada’s pioneers in country, this charming and versatile entertainer from Nova Scotia remains dedicated to travelling and sharing his music with people from coast to coast. Whether your taste is for rich country vocals accompanied by acoustic guitar, 5 string banjo, picking blue grass or fiddle tunes ranging from old time to Cajun, Brent Williams does it all with talent and charisma, that leaves most people in awe over his performance.

During the course of Brent’s career some of his achievements include a fiddle championship, several top 20 charted hits, television appearances too numerous to mention, and a nomination for the Outstanding Performance award by the CCMA. Brent’s music is enjoyed by everyone worldwide, and his popularity is still growing. Apart from having recorded several albums and CD’s, his versatility makes him outstanding in his field, and sets him apart from most other artists. Brent won first place in the Bon Soo Open Fiddle Championship, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, made his debut in a movie and performed in a live Musical play. He intends to persue his acting career.

Some CD cuts are: Wild Colonial Boy, Squid Jiggin’ Ground, Black Velvet Band, Danny Boy, Tiny Red Light, Silver Sea and many more. This CD reveals another side of Brent Williams. He was born and raised in Nova Scotia, and grew up with Celtic, Scottish and Irish Music. So the CD fits very well into his wide range of music.
