Michael T Wall now 79 years old, appears not slowing down with his writing, singing and touring in 2017. He now is planning to release a new Christmas album in December 2017. Looking back over his long career, his long list of appearances is endless at various venues such as Ontario, Nashville and Newfoundland as well as TV appearances. He did 5 tours of Australia, sang in Poland, Germany, Japan, Israel, Bejing, Hong Kong, Shanghei, and The Great Wall of China.
He received a Lifetime Achievement Award at NTCMA, USA, a Living Legend Award at NTCMA, USA and an International Musical Ambassador Award from Joey Smallwood in Nfld. He became the first Canadian to be inducted into the Australian Country Hall of Fame in 2015. He also received the Stompin' Tom Award from ECMA and the Germans even put him on a postage stamp.
His new CD, Little Boats of Newfoundland contains 16 songs and mostly popular songs about Newfoundland. Here are the titles:

One song on the CD entitled Song For Mother Earth was sung by Michael's daughter, Sabrina. She also joined Michael with the novelty song, Pee Wee The Wonder Worm. The CD title, Little Boats of Newfoundland, was a song written by music legend, Roy Payne and is included on the CD.
