Christine Melanson, young fiddler from Moncton, New Brunswick released her debut album entitled, Constellations, in 2016 and it has been nominated for an ECMA 2017 Award for Traditional Instrumental Recording of The Year.

Her album is a hybrid studio/live album, recorded in its entirety in the Bernard-LeBlanc Concert Hall in Moncton's Aberdeen Cultural Center.

Constellations is a fiery and fresh take on traditional Canadian, Celtic, and Cape Breton tunes, as well as modern celtic compositions. Maxim Cormier was co-producer and guitarist, Jean-Pascal Comeau as bassist and recording/mixing/mastering engineer and Emmanuelle LeBlanc, whistle- Pastelle LeBlanc, piano accordion-Philippe LeBlanc, flute and Janelle Melanson, fiddle as guest artists.

There are 10 fiddle tracks on the CD and here are the titles:

Housecoat Happiness-Set A Pepere-PDLT-In A Furry-The Real Housegirls of The Maritimes-Farewell To The Red Shoe-Jam Avec Janelle-All Dressed Up For the Boat (Live)-Reel de l'hiver/Pointe au pic (live)-Piano Set (Live)

Most of the 10 tracks contain a number of different selections and add great sounds to each track.

The CD was produced by Christine Melanson and Maxim Cormier.
