Festival of Small Halls in Burton, PEI at St. Marks Hall on June 23/16 was an overall success. The hall was almost full to witness an astounding evening of music.

Kelley Mooney from Iona, PEI opened the show with an outstanding performance with her unbelievable voice. She performed alone with her guitar and piano and had the audience spellbound with her own compositions and a couple of cover songs. She received a standing ovation when finished with her hit song Hallelujah.

Following Kelley, April Verch from Rankin, Ontario, a Canadian Grand Master Fiddling Champion of 1997, took the stage with her outstanding performance. The audience certainly were in awe with her performance, which saw her perform with fiddle playing, singing and stepdancing all at the same time-A World Class Act. Her partners on stage were Cody Walters and Alex Rubin with their professional music.

The night of music was one to remember by all and look forward to their return in the future.
