Nulallan, Piping Group from Cape Breton, released their Self-titled CD in 2015, and it was nominated for an ECMA 2016 for Traditional Instrumental Recording of the Year.

The group is comprised of three Cape Breton pipers-Keith MacDonald, Kenneth MacKenzie and Kevin Dugas. They were formed by the Gaelic College and they seek to represent, promote and explore the style of piping brought from Scotland by Highland Gaels and developed over the past two hundred years in Cape Breton.

This rich style of playing has a strong focus on rhythm and musicality and displays a strong connection to the song and dance traditions of Gaelic culture.

The group released their self-titled debut recording earlier in 2015, and their high-energy performances have been a hit wherever they have appeared.

Here are the track titles:

First Figure - Bog An Lochan - Gabh Danns' - The Grey Buck - Thig-A-Staigh's Greas Ort - Cha Threiginn Fhin Mo Chruinneag Dhonn

The CD features other artists:

Mac Morin, piano - Patrick Gillis, guitar - Colin MacDonald, vocals - David Rankin, vocals - Kyle MacDonald, drums and vocals - Jenny MacMacKenzie, Steps.

The CD was produced by Nuallan and recorded at ECMA 2016 award winning studio, Lakewind Sound Studios.

A great listening-to album and Atlantic Seabreeze gives this great piping album top ratings on its rating list.
