North America's only coal miners chorus has been entertaining audiences around the world for the past 50 years. They have also done numerous television specials, radio shows, national and international tours and have nine albums to their credit, with the 10th on the way.

The Golden Gala, Celebrating 50 Years with The Men of The Deeps will take place at The Savoy Theatre, Glace Bay, Cape Breton on Saturday, April 30th at 8 pm.

Special Guests include:

Lucy MacNeil of the Barra MacNeils, Kim Dunn from Rita MacNeils Band, Matt Minglewood and multi-talented instrumentalist J.P.Cormier. There will also be several guest hosts, videos and a performance by members of The Men Of The Deeps.

An anniversary compilation CD, will be available for sale at this event.

The group weill be embarking on a Maritime tour as well as a national tour after the Gala event.
