The Stanfields, a Canadian rock music group based in Halifax, N.S. recently released their fourth album on Septemer 18, 2015 entitled, Modem Operandi, a follow-up to their third album entitled, For King and Country in 2013. Their other two albums were, Death and Taxes (2012) and Vanguard of the Young & Reckless (2010).

The band was formed in 2008 and in 2015 the band consist of: Jon Landry, Mark Murphy, Jason MacIsaac, Dillan Tate and Calen Kinney , most of which supplied the music on the new album.

The band is known for its powerful live show, and have toured mostly in Canada and Germany. They have been choosen Fans choice and Group of the Year in 2013 by ECMA and by Music Nova Scotia in 2013 as well.

The band is described by some sources as the bastard children of AC/DC and Stan Rogers, the band blends a hard rock style with elements of traditional Atlantic Canadian folk music.

Their new CD contains of 8 songs, all written performed by the Stanfields. Here are the song titles: White Juan-The Marystown Expedition- Fight Song-Sunday Warships-Mainline-Streets of Gold-Lady Argyle-Will The Circuit Be Unbroken.

The Stanfields perform great Folk Rock music on their new album and Atlantic Seabreeze gives the album high ratings on its rating list.
