As a youngster he was influenced by rock music, but as he got older he knew this music wasn't for him and he felt country music was his calling. He returned to his roots and the country genre that resonated with him.
He began writing and in Nashville he wrote with several well-estalished writers. As a result he put together his debut CD entitled Pretty Good Start in May 2013 recorded at Legends Studio in Nashville produced by Brian G. White.
The first single, Sweet Sweet Sunshine, was earlier released in 2012, and was heavily rotated on radio. A tour followed in Canada across the country.
An EP followed self-titled with 6 songs, some of which appeared on his earlier CD. His newest single, Make My Day has now been released in Canada as well as U.S. from the new EP. Three new songs have been placed on the EP and produced by Phil O'donnell who has produced albums by Craig Morgan, Tara Oram and High Valley.

The songs sound great and country fans are in for a treat when listening to Jamies music. Atlantic Seabreeze gives this EP very high ratings on its rating list. Nominations and awards should be in the making for Jamie.
