The Back Yard Devils, NB Music Award Winners from Moncton, N.B., released their Self-titled CD in early 2011, and as a result they won 3 awards for Group Recording-Emerging Artist and Anylophone Country Recording of the Year.

The band members are:

Erik Arsenault, lead singer, rhythm guitar

Remi Arsenault, bass, vocals

Dillon Robicheau, mandolin, banjo

Chris Belliveau, guitar, vocals

Their debut album is a blended mix of dirty country, rockabilly and bluegrass music. They play these music styles with their own mix. Their sound is like that of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, the Stanley Brothers and Bill Monroe. The band raises hell with their fast stomping music any place they play.

The CD contains 13 songs, 12 of which the band wrote 12 and one by the late Jimmie Rogers (Blue Yodel No 9)

Here are the song titles:

Big Trucks & Steel Trains-Mean Moonshine Blues

Little Woman-House On The Coast-Cold and Lonesome

Can't Get You Off My Mind-Old Train-Drinking Alone

Gonna See My Baby-For My Lord-Junkhead Blues

This River-Blue Yodel No. 9

All songs were arranged by The Back Yard Devils.

This group is an exciting band, and one will find difficult to sit while the band is performing, and this was proved at ECMA 2012 in Moncton recently at many of their showcases. Atlantic Seabreeze gives top ratings for this CD and for those who wish to purchase this fine CD, refer to their website, address posted above.
