Winning Retired Group, BARACHOIS from P.E.I. have branched out on their own to create a comedy and musical duo to entertain audiences around the world. The new bilingual show played all summer of 2005 at the MacKenzie Theatre in Charlottetown to sell-out audiences. They create music with instruments fashioned from vegetable steamers and cake racks making people laugh with their antics and rubber faces. It's character driven comedy, based on universal characters that everybody can identify with.Due to the success of their stage show, they decided to put together this outstanding DVD for the enjoyment of their fans and followers. The DVD is humourous from start to finish with their own brand of music included. In the show, humour is often created with alliteration--when words like engarde get linked with ensemble. Their music is universal and they create the same effect with vocabulary and certain characters. Albert plays fiddle and even the saw, while Chuck plays guitar and harmonica.
The DVD is packed with comedy routines and keeps the viewer on the edge of their seats. Their show is equipped with generous portioning faces, flying feet and fiddle faux-pas and their show is full of entertainment. The DVD also includes back stage comedy and Albert gives the viewer a lesson in playing the bones and a still picture gallery of their show.
The DVD is a must for lovers of comedy and no one will be disappointed by the outstanding performance of Chuck Arsenault and Albert Arsenault.
Atlantic Seabreeze places this DVD high on its list of great DVD's. Check out your local music store for this DVD or contact Chuck or Albert on their e-mail or website, address posted above.
